A Draft of Affection

I did believe
When I walked away,
Walked away slowly
That return I will..
I shall..

I did believe
Everyone will wait,
Wait along the way
For my dreams..
For me..

I did believe
There was a purpose to this,
Purpose fulfilling
My search for something..
Something unknown..

I did believe
There was a Smile,
Smile so enduring
To wipe away the pain..
Which had found me..

I did believe
The path was winding,
Going round in circles
But there was an end..
End quite close..

I did believe
I would have a face,
Face of pride
When I walked back..
Not empty handed..

I did believe
I could answer my own questions,
Questions grim, of life
Start new beginnings..
With people old..

I did believe
I would cry
Cry relentlessly,tears true
If believed too much..
And I did..

Thanks babe!

Hmm tough to explain..why I gave it that name is a part of the string of thoughts that was going through my mind when I wrote it..

Lemme try..The poem is about looking for Affection..
and Draft is the 'plan'/'blueprint' to find it...something like that..it's like a drafted a perfect plan on paper to look for it...Do you remotely understand?

Glad you enjoyed it..=)

hehe, this one's good.. but yeah, the title reminds me of this colleague of mine, who once sent an email to me and this colleague from the US, with the header

Is there any Affection?

later i understood that she wanted to know if there is an impact, or does it affect something else....

these commies sometimes come up with the funniest expressions i tell you...
